Landscaping Tips

For Mid-Winter

Did you know that snow on  your lawn can cause damage  to your grass if not cared  for properly? Check out these tips to learn how you can keep your grass healthy for the spring!

Level Out Snow

During winter it is important that you level the snow in your yard. Heavy piles of snow on your grass can create mold and attack  the grass. Leveling out the snow can help prevent this!

1

Clear Your Yard

Similar to heavy snow causing damage, any objects left on your yard over winter can leave dead patches of grass, Make sure to rake leaves and remove toys and heavy objects to prevent more weight on the grass after snow.

2

Avoid Traffic  On Grass

Avoid walking on your grass regularly after it has snowed because it can compact the snow and kill the grass. Similarly, avoid parking on your grass as well.
